Book Releases

Pride Month is once again over but that doesn’t mean we stop reading and promoting queer books. In this house we read and promote queer science fiction and fantasy all year long. And July is another epic month for queer SFF releases, including my most anticipated  sequel to one of my absolute favorite books. July is all about the series, we have multiple new ones starting, highly anticipated sequels and one series is coming to an end this month.

I know publishing has its very own schedule/calendar, but not publishing LOTS of queer books during June AKA pride month seems like a missed opportunity. May has a wide variety of queer books to offer in both fantasy and science fiction, from murder over giant robots to KNIGHTS ON MOTORBIKES. Yes, you read that right. This is a truly wild month and I’m extremely excited about every single one of these books.

While March was a bit of a sad month for queer releases (at least compared to other months in 2021 so far), April is back at it again with a long list of amazing books. We’re once again getting our fair share of sapphic releases but also trans and non-binary rep, as well as some queer men, who always come a bit short. I’m especially happy about the two stories featuring polyamorous relationships.

2021 has many great queer science fiction and fantasy releases in store for us and January launches a new year of queer books with an amazing list. We have a good mix of science fiction and fantasy, from space opera over superhero fiction to portal fantasy.
